The Joseph Company – Season 2: Breakfast 2

Spotlighting the Restorative Purpose of BUSINESS in the community

Join us on Friday, October 7th, as we explore Business as the first of The Seven Grand Oaks of the community. The business community is intertwined in all aspects of our social fabric and has a huge impact on the overall culture. In other words, we won’t have a healthy overall culture, if we don’t have a healthy business culture. Toward that end, the focus will be on discovering the restorative purpose of business in the community.

re·stor·a·tive
/rəˈstôrədiv/ adjective
having the ability to restore health, strength, or a feeling of well-being.

After a delicious breakfast provided by Zub’s Katering, you will hear an inspiring presentation to help us process this question: As a business community, how can we intentionally pursue a mission to provide health, strength and well-being to ALL people as we engage with them through our various interactions and activities?

To help clarify what we mean by the restorative purpose of business, the talk will focus on the very essence of business itself: Productive Creativity. After the 20-minute presentation, attendees will process the presentation with other community leaders at round tables to idea-share and collaborate.

Our Coach for the morning is Alan Hoffler, the Director of 3D Business. After short stints teaching in secondary and higher education, Alan moved to the corporate world where he spent 13 years working inside a large software company. He left America’s #1 place to work to start his own speech coaching business right before the crash of 2008. He has been a contributing partner with 3D Institute since 2015.
